International Auto Show in Frankfurt next week will be the venue where Bentley is about to unveil their very first SUV. However, a lot is already known about it because this ultra-luxury division of Volkswagen has been releasing images, videos and data about their new creation to raise interest before the official unveiling.

The car’s name “Bentayga” is a combo of “Bentley” and taiga, the Siberian snow forest. Equipped with a 6 liter 12 cylinder engine, it reaches 60 mph (100 kph) in only 4.1 seconds and finally achieves 187 mph ( 301 kph) which will make it the fastest SUV in the world. At the moment this prestigious title is still held by Porsche Cayenne, but as the Bentayga hits the market in 2016 this will change. How long will Bentayga hold this record remains to be seen because Bentley’s corporate cousins Lamborghini are planning to release their first SUV preliminarily called Ursus in 2018. Both cars are expected to be in the price range of around 180,000 Euros ($200,000).

The interior and tech features are second to none. The car features a 360 degree camera and multiple USB charging ports. An 8 inch touchscreen with infotainment system at the middle console is there for the driver, while 10.2 inch removable Android tablets with Wi-Fi and 4G connectivity are in the back.

The sound system is an 18 speaker, 1,950 watt Naim, the wheels will be offered in sizes ranging from 20 to 22 inch and the buyer can choose between 4 or 5 passenger layout ( 2 or 3 seats in the back).

The leather interior can be composed from among 15 colors and a panoramic sunroof is also optional.

And here we arrive to an interesting optional detail which Bentley calls “event seat”. It is installed in the cargo area facing backwards. Now, what kind of event would someone attend from a tail gate of their Bentley? Safari? BBQ? High end tailgate party? Well, if you have a $200,000 to spare, just get it and see what can be done with it.
